He was terrific, and showed he deserved the title by beating 3 of the world's top 6 without losing a set.
If I had a dollar for every time I saw this play out...
In other words, 'the King is dead; long live the King!' He was a sight to behold. I did feel badly for Roger, but in tennis, 30+ is Too Old. (Imagine how I feel at 63, eh?)
Federer's not dead yet, and still won't be after he turns 30 in August.
Um, sorry about that, Roger. I imagine that he will continue to be very involved in the tennis world, whether he wins another Slam match or not. Class act.
